Your recipes. Your device.
Privacy policy for Meal Prepper: Recipe Keeper, provided by Gary Oden.
Effective September 17, 2026 · App version 1.0
Information stored in the app
Meal Prepper does not require an account. Recipes, ingredients, instructions, nutrition values, photos, meal plans, shopping lists, and preferences are stored locally on your device. The app does not send this collection to a developer-operated server.
Photos, camera, and text recognition
The app uses photos you select or capture to attach images to recipes and recognize recipe text. Text recognition runs on your device using Apple’s frameworks. Meal Prepper does not upload these photos or recognized text to an AI service or to the developer. Your device may download a selected photo from your own iCloud Photos library under your Apple settings.
Voice entry
Optional voice entry uses your microphone and Apple’s on-device speech recognition. The app requires on-device recognition support and does not fall back to remote speech recognition. Recognized text is displayed for review and can be added to a recipe. Meal Prepper does not save a voice recording to its recipe collection or send one to the developer.
Nutrition and body measurements
Nutrition values and any body measurements entered into the app are processed on your device. They are not sent to the developer or used for advertising.
Recipe links and other websites
When the app loads a saved recipe link preview or you open a link, it may connect to that website through Apple’s services. The website or service can receive ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and the requested URL. These external services have their own privacy practices.
Backups and sharing
Backups can contain your recipes, photos, nutrition, meal plans, and shopping lists. You decide where to save or share them through iOS. Any cloud storage, email, or other service you choose handles those copies under its own policy. Your device’s system backup settings may also include app data. The developer cannot retrieve your local collection for you.
Advertising, analytics, and purchases
The app has no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Apple handles App Store purchases; Meal Prepper does not receive your payment-card information. Apple may process store, purchase, and diagnostic information under its own privacy policy and your device settings.
Choices and deletion
You can change camera, microphone, and speech permissions in iOS Settings and delete content in the app. Deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading it may retain that data. Separately saved or shared backups must be managed where you stored them.
Support messages
If you email support, Gary Oden receives your email address and anything you choose to include so he can respond to your request. Email providers also process these messages. Do not send information that is unnecessary for support. You can contact the address below about your support correspondence or privacy questions.
This website
These support pages contain no advertising, analytics scripts, or contact form. The hosting provider processes connection information needed to deliver and protect the website.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the app’s practices change. The effective date above identifies this version.
